This rocks. The music industry continues to find the most inventive ways to act like babies. Actually, I think it's a good thing; hopefully this will get the DMCA in front of the Supreme Court so that they can shoot holes in it.

Guess what today is? You're right, it is the day of the California recall election, but that's not what I'm talking about. Guess again. Well, yes, it is also the day that they announced the winners of the Nobel Prize in Physics, but that's also not what I was referring to.
Fine, I'll just tell you. Today is the one-year anniversary of my blog! That's right, on October 7, 2002, at 11:33 PM, I made my first post. Ah, those were good old days, weren't they? Back then I used to write about nothing but the boring details of my mundane existence, and my site had this horrible blue-and-gray-and-white color scheme. (What was that all about? Those 2002 fashions were crazy!)
So congratulations to me for keeping it up, and congratulations to you for being hardy enough to withstand an entire year of my writing. Thank you so much for reading. (Yes, you - sitting in that chair right there! With the shirt!) It really does mean a lot to me that you take the time to read and comment on the site, and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate it.
OK, enough of the sappy stuff. Tomorrow we'll be back to our usual menu of self-deprecating stories about me doing stupid things. At the moment I'm planning out an elaborate Tom-and-Jerry style setup involving a garden hose, a bulldog, and various rakes distributed strategically throughout the yard. With any luck, I'll have one of those giant 10-story lumps on my head that I can get rid of by gently tapping it down with a mallet. (It will be funnier when I'm done with it, I promise.)

How about those Colts? Down 21 points with 4 minutes to go, and they pull out the overtime win! OK, so they got a lucky call at the end, and Vanderjagt's field goal was ugly. On the other hand, they got robbed on that onside kick recovery in the fourth quarter, so I'm calling it even.
Go Colts!
